Your Mail Week Of 08/19/2007

I'm honored to say that this site is getting some pretty good traffic. As long as you are reading I'll keep posting. After leaving an email function on the blog for people to send me their suggestions, words of hate, encouragement, criticism, etc., I have actually gotten a large amount of emails. Some of them I would like to respond to here, and I'll do this weekly. So enjoy. My response is in red.

Keep up the good work!! I found your site through the Blog4Borders roll and I really enjoy what you write! I was just curious but you never really talk about Michigan issues besides the environment?. What do you think of the current state of Michigan? -Sarah apparently from MI

I think Michigan is in big trouble but the people in this state elected exactly what they deserve. We've had a senator in office for over 40 years whose accomplishments can be fit on the head of pin. Then we re-elect the Canadian communist who instead of encourage business to enter Michigan, is finding every way she can to tax us into oblivion. Sadly I have to say that people are just going to leave and shut the lights off for Michigan on their way out.

Out of everything someone complain about, couldn't you have found something actually remotely true. I find it really surprising that you would accuse me of defending Bush & Cheney. I don't think I've spent anywhere near half the time defending them as I have been critical of them for their spending and their management of our borders. As for what I right or make right (I think you meant WRITE) I'm very proud to say it comes from my heart and my heart only.

Well I thank you for your support but I really don't recall right off of the top of my head where I might have said something dissing Catholics. If I did it was probably out of either my infamous sarcasm or jest, considering I am a questioning Catholic myself. I'll be sure to look back and find what I said and get back with you.

Are you a consevative or a freakin' liberal?! I have no clue because you seem to shift blame in your posts from liberals to our president like between every other paragraph. You are really confusing. -Rodney in OH

Well I guess you could define me as a conservative realist. I look at things how they are and say how they are, and if the blame or problem falls with the Bush Administration or the left or whatever, that's where I put it. Whether the solution is with the Democrats or the Republicans, I will support whoever I see has the right answers. If you want to judge where I stand, read my blog, but under most situations you will find me sticking up for the people before I before I stick up for government. The problem with that statement for you is that it doesn't really answer your questions. So I guess you'll just have to wait and see.

What do you think about the NRA trying to give guns to kids? I mean it would totally ruin my opinion of your blog if you really support those nutcases. -anonymous

Well prepare to have your opinion ruined. I am a proud supporter of the NRA and the second ammendment. I believe that the last defense against a tyrannical government is the arming of the civilian masses. God forbid one day that our government really goes wacko? If you disarm the people what do you think would keep us from turning into the USSR?


At a specific point you said that you would not support a specific political candidate for president in 2008 during the primaries. I couldn't happen to notice that the blogroll that you belong to is run by a "Texasfred." I noticed that Texasfred has an "I'm With Fred" contribution button on one of his pages. So doesn't this mean that by you being incorporated in his blogreel, you are in support of Fred Thompson for president. -William from Idaho

I use yahoo's blog site and I keep getting problems with spam. I see you used to have a site with yahoo andyou moved to blogger. -Gina in TX

I switched from Yahoo to Google Blogger for multiple reasons. One being that I kept getting flagged by someone with no life with whatever I posted. Then I kept getting hatemail so I moved here. Also I find that blogger is very convenient for typing and relaying links of information back and forth. It's got more options and it's a hell of alot easier to keep organized.

Well where can I start. For starts maybe your political science professor should explore something called workers rights before starts another one of his rants. The only major support basis for the people who support illegal immigration is that "they do jobs that Americans won't do." This couldn't be more false.

It's not that Americans won't do the jobs, it's that we won't do the jobs without proper compensation and benefits. We don't want to be slaves to industry. That is all industry does with illegal immigrants. They hire them because they can get them to work below what they have to pay American citizens and with no benefits. It's creating slave labor, and I for one will not stand for slavery again in this country. If your professor, whom I'm assuming makes a six-figured income easily, would like to beg to differ with me, he can contact me at this site.
